Is There a Need I Can Fill?

As I look for a job, and find very little in my field…I started to wonder is there a need for something else? After 12 years in the Early Childhood Industry, I have watched families try to care for and educate their children on their own. I have managed teachers for years, and they are such special people. They have energy unlike most of us, they have commitment to children, and they love helping children and their families.

• How could families who did not choose education as their profession help their children learn at home, while doing their own job?

• How could children spend hours facing screens, when studies recommend screen time should be limited to 1 hour per day (for children 2-5 years old), and 2 hours per day (for children 6-13).

• How would children build their social and emotional skills outside the classroom?

• What tools would children need to flourish at e-learning?

As I thought about these questions, I began to think maybe I could help. As I work on creating tools to help families and their children I will share them with you.
