I’ve accepted a job!!!

After 8 months of unemployment, I have accepted a new job!!

Like many of the unemployed, I have applied for hundreds of jobs. I did not hear anything from 90% of these companies. Throughout the search I have felt like I was sending my resume to a black hole. At times I have felt like I would never get an interview. Then one day someone looked at my LinkedIn Profile and reached out! I do feel like this is a sign that things are slowly starting to get back to ‘normal’.

I am sure many of you have had ‘dark’ days where this pandemic has seemed endless. I hope your support system is strong, and if you need support…please reach out to someone. Everyone wants to help!

My intention is to keep up with this blog while I work at my new job. I have developed new skills, healthy habits, and exciting menus through this blog. I intend to keep all of that going, and find success in my new role!
