6 months ago I was walking 4 miles every day on a treadmill at the gym. Then we were quarantined….and the wheels came off.

After getting laid off, I decided I would walk 1-2 miles every day, 5 days a week. When it is hot outside, I try to get this done in the morning, choose a time that you can commit to consistently. I use an app to track my mileage, and watch my progress each week.

Here are a few apps I recommend to keep on track:

  • Walking for Weight Loss (I use this one)

  • Pacer Pedometer

  • Map My Walk

  • StepsApp Pedometer

As fall approaches I will be adding miles to my walks as I get stronger!!
