Updating Vintage Chairs

My Mother has incredible vision for design. She can transform a piece of furniture, a window, or a room with beautiful flair, and an eye for the perfect color. She has created beautiful homes for our family wherever we lived. I remember church pews transformed into an eat-in kitchen, foil wallpaper that turned a plain living room into an icy winter scene, she made brightly striped roman shades that brought sunshine in our kitchen. Soooo many incredible ideas!

She bought 3 vintage chairs a few years ago, with the vision to give them a new life. Under normal circumstances, I would have gone to my Mom’s house and help her with the project. We would have shared the project, some laughs, and a meal. Unfortunately, with Covid, we cannot work on this together. The alternative was for me to pick up the chairs, fabric, and paint and work on them at my house. (We did share lunch outside on her patio! :))

I will share my progress on this fun project! Wait until you see the colors she chose!!
